Ida Nemming Studio
Ida Nemming Studio creates hand-folded and hand-painted lampshades. The lamps are made up of a folded paper screen and two metal rings that stabilize the structure while allowing the compositions to vary. The lamps are unique products; no two lamps are alike. Ida Nemming graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Design School in Copenhagen and works from her workshop in Oslo.
Product designer Eschel Jakobsen's goal is to withstand short-term trends and instead pursue design ideas that will last for generations. Innovation and user interaction are at the heart of his work, embracing a number of classic design objects including the egg cup, the cutter and the cutting board. Eschel is a trained product designer from the Design School Kolding and works from his workshop at Vesterbro in Copenhagen.
Illustrator and visual artist Line Jak creates expressive and poetic linoleum prints and monotypes. She works towards visualizing emotions, memories and thoughts. Capture the mood with colours, and everyday motifs that, in new compositions, reflect our inner universes. Line is a trained illustrator from the Design School Kolding and works from her atelier in Copenhagen.
With a special interest in plexiglass and drawing, artist and graphic designer Mette Grøngaard creates artworks, paintings and sculptural objects that invite our senses and consciousness in as the central characters in the aesthetic experience. Mette is a trained graphic designer from Design School Kolding.
